NBA Play-in Parlay: Bets for Tonight’s Heat vs. Bulls Battle for the #8 Seed

Welcome to our parlay and player prop research for the matchup between the Chicago Bulls and Miami Heat on April 14, 2023. Take a look at the numbers we are including in every bet for today, and play them either straight or in a parlay.

The lineup for today (+900 4-leg parlay)

The first elimination game of the NBA playoffs is here featuring the Miami Heat hosting the Chicago Bulls. Though both teams underperformed from their expectations in the regular season, their respective openings to the playoffs could not have been more different. The Heat were dominated by the Hawks in their opening game, hampered by an uncharacteristically poor shooting night from star Jimmy Butler. In the other matchup, the Chicago Bulls pulled off an impressive 19-point comeback to keep their playoff matchup alive. We anticipate a gritty, low-scoring game between these two franchises, but there are still plenty of bright spots to look for.

Bulls +5 Spread (-110) | Game Line

With the matchup looking to be low scoring and slow paced, this line makes a lot of sense. Though the Heat on paper are the deeper and more experienced team, their prior game left a lot of question marks, meanwhile, Chicago should be riding off a great wave of adrenaline from their comeback. In their three regular season matchups, the Bulls handled the Heat well, so it would come as no surprise that they would continue to find success now.

Jimmy Butler o32.5 Points + Assists (-120) | Player Prop

Butler, often known for his clutch playoff performance, had a disappointing start to the last game, shooting a poor 6-19, but still pouring in 9 assists and finishing just shy of this line. In games this year that Butler plays 36 or more minutes, he has hit this line nearly half of the time, including in four of his last five.

Zach LaVine o2.5 3-PTs (-120) | Player Prop

Squaring off against the 28th-ranked 3-Point defense in the league, expect one of the best shooters in the league to light it up from deep early and often. This season he has hit this threes line (o2.5) 47% of the time.

Nikola Vucevic o15.5 (-140) | Player Prop

Chicago’s big man gives us our best look of the game: his line is currently set below his season average. Vucevic has hit this total or better in 59% of games played this season. In an elimination game, expect this trend to continue.
